UPDATE: Stafford's hearing is on!

Hi! I’m your neighbor Mariana Horta, and this is an update about our local government. Usually, you will only receive this newsletter once a week, but it’s a busy news week for Montclair, and I want you to know this hearing is finally happening.
Stafford gets his hearing. I cannot wait to hear what he has to say for himself. Here is the agenda. And Craig Wolff’s story about the agenda.
What to expect. The meeting will start at 10 am in the council chambers at 205 Claremont Ave. and will be broadcast on Montclair’s YouTube channel. Public comments will be limited to an hour, and each member of the public may speak for up to three minutes. Stafford will talk for as long as he wishes but may not question members of the council, Montclair employees, or their attorneys. The council will adjourn for at least an hour and may then vote on Stafford’s removal.
